Ministero liturgico e omiletica RA0703

Sede di Gerusalemme
Secondo semestre

The first part of the course (Liturgical Ministry) aims to bring the students to a qualified celebration of the sacred mysteries and Christian rites, combining sacramental principles and liturgical practice. In view of their future pastoral work as Church leaders and spiritual educators, this course wishes to help them to perform a celebration not merely as prescribed rituals, but as actions that illuminate fundamental relationships among human beings and between them and God. The general concern is then to enhance the quality of their celebrations. This objective will be met by means of the following learning activities: 1. Attendance at lessons. 2. Expositions by the professor. 3. Practical exercises in the liturgical celebrations.

Preparation and celebration of sacraments and sacramentals, with a particular focus on the presiding role, especially for Baptism, Eucharist, Penance, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, Funeral Rites and Blessings.
