FINALITÀ

To lead students to understand what Paulo Freire calls “conscientisation” and to integrate it by group work and practical exercises. To help pastoral leaders in their task of creating awareness in small groups of social questions and/or religious activity.

ARGOMENTI

1. Theoretical part. The Cardinal Cardijn’s methodology of “see, judge, act”. The “pastoral circle” methodology as it is presented by the Lumko Pastoral Institute in South Africa. 2 Practical part. Sessions of awareness raising on a subject of the students’ choice. Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of the course, students are expected have learnt a methodology of looking together for activities that they should undertake, decide on, and evaluate regularly.
